I shot this one in 2007 when I first started experimenting with long exposures. Although I lost the EXIF data on this photo, it was still clearly a long exposure. I took a road trip with a friend of mine from New Jersey to Miami to help him move into his new college dorm and we got to south Florida at night and made a pit stop in The Everglades where it was pitch black. Thats where I remember taking the first round of long exposures for this trip. It was fun being able to see stars in the sky in photos, this might have been the first time I've experienced that...

For the past few years, I've had the privilege to work with and amazing wedding photography team at J'Adore Love. Last summer I had the opportunity with them to shoot with an amazing couple for a sunrise engagement shoot. Miss U.S.A Nia Sanchez and her fiance Daniel Booko were both the most lively people to be around at 5 a.m...

This photo didn't end up at all like I had planned, sometimes thats just the way things pan out. Nevertheless, I am still happy with the way this shot came out.
My original idea was to snoot my flash so it only lit up his eyes and have the rest of his face and body blacked out. It was an idea I got from a photo I shot a few years back where I did that by accident and remembered how cool it looked...

The Sony A7S II is a hot camera right now and I slept on it when it was first released so it was sold out from everywhere as soon it came out. I got a call from Allens Camera in Allentown, PA that they got it back in stock right before I was leaving for California and saw this as a perfect opportunity to test it out. It was delivered a couple of hours before I got on the plane to LA and was eager to shoot with it...

This photo is unique for a number of reasons. First things first, this photo was taken at Jervis Bay in NSW, Australia. This was the first night we set up camp and had no idea what to expect. By showing up after sundown, we really couldn't see much past what the light on our phones could show us and the stars above our heads. We hiked down to the beach and found this cave where we made a camp fire...

I am introducing a new category to the blog with stories about the photos I feature in my portfolio and how they were shot. This is called "From The Front Page".
In the beginning of 2014, I took an epic trip to Puerto Rico to escape the winter in NYC. The first week was filled with skating throughout the tropical paradise with 13 or my buddies from all over the world. The second week, my girlfriend flew in and we went on a bunch of adventures together every day. We all over the island together, and this was the week I actually took my camera out with me every day...

For as long as I could remember, the one thing I always wanted to do in this industry was shoot a car commercial. I love cars and I love cinema, and I always wanted the opportunity to combine them both. The incorporation of speed, engines growling, rubber burning, the mix of speed and slow motion always appealed to me. Unfortunately, I never had the budget to shoot one....until now.
