I have a secret. For all of you tourists and people trying to find the best place to watch the sunset in New York City, I found it. It's 1,500ft above the East River!
It has been a while since I've been in the air with FlyNYON but I had an opportunity to go up the other day and it couldn't have been a more perfect day for a fly. This is my favorite time to fly but just as easily as it's the best time to fly, it can be the most disappointing. The past few times I flew at dusk, it was either too cloudy or the sun hid behind clouds on the horizon by the time we were airborne. However, this was a picture perfect day, literally.
Heading back down the East River I was shooting video on the DJI Osmo and couldn't help but snap this shot when I saw how good it was looking through my phone. If you're looking to give FlyNYON a shot, I highly recommend the sunset flights, they're totally worth it!
