Another one of the Manhattan skyline but there was something unique about this day. This morning, New York woke up to a winter storm advisory with high winds and heavy snowfall. On my way to the office, it was nothing but pretty outside with the icy roads and extremely limited visibility.
Come early afternoon, I look out the window and notice that there were clear blue skies out and the weather took a complete 180 turn. One of the best times to fly with FlyNYON are right after crazy thunderstorms in the summer when the skies clear out and you get the best colors and clouds for sunset. This was pretty much a winter version of that which is extremely rare. Just a few hours before this photo was taken, it looked like a blizzard outside, and then this. Perfect colors, perfect clouds and a perfect view of the best city!
