As mentioned in my last post about Venice Beach, one of the best parts about this area of California are the sunsets. I think the best way to utilize sunsets are by shooting silhouettes. They're one of the only ways to isolate the colors and contrast in the sky without capturing a typical boring landscape photo.
The thing about Venice beach is that the main part is mostly tacky stores and people trying to sell you marijuana licenses or their mixtapes. If you just look to the left, however, you get views like this... classic California. A handstand silhouetted against the palm trees in front of an incredible sunset. Now time for some In-N-Out!
