I love doing these year-end recap blogs. I think everyone should do it since it really helps you look back on all of your accomplishments and kinda kicks you in the ass to do something even better next year. I haven't realized how much shit happened to me in 2017 until I wrote this article, so let's dive into this past 12 months of adventures and madness!

It’s been a while since I’ve updated this blog, but I had to add to my year end review tradition. If I don’t do this, then 5 years from now I’ll have no idea what happened in 2018 ha!

2015 was a significant year in my life. Many major changes lead to a year of fulfillment and happiness which to me is more important than almost every other decision I've made in my life prior. The last time I did one of these recaps was from 2012 on my old website and it was probably my favorite posts...
Read MoreBehind The Photo With FlyNYON: NYE Times Square
Over at FlyNYON, we've started a new series called "Behind The Photo" where we do a quick little interview with a photographer about their favorite photo with FlyNYON. I did mine about my New Years Eve photo over Times Square right after the ball dropped. There wasn't too much I could say in the short 60 seconds I had but that's what this blog is about…

For years I've been looking for the perfect electric drum kit. Electric because I have yet to live in a place where I can bash freely on insanely loud drums without having the cops called on me. In May, I had the opportunity to have a couple of my photos displayed in Times Square. I posted a few photos, but never explained anything about it.
One of my favorite photographers, Vincent Laforet, posted on his blog that he was giving photographers around the world an opportunity to have their work on the Nasdaq and Reuters big ass digital billboards right in the middle of times square...

A Friend of mine moved from NYC to LA a few years ago and wanted something to show everyone where he was from when they came to visit. I sent him a few examples to choose from and these were the first two he wanted.

Read MoreFlying Over NYC With FlyNYON
I don't know if I have an all time favorite photographer but Vincent Laforet has been a huge influence on me. One aspect of his work that I go crazy over is his aerial photography, its simply unmatched compared to anyone else's aerial images. After seeing all of Vincent's work, I've always wanted to go shoot from a helicopter and after following certain accounts on instagram over the years, I've had the urge to fly over the buildings in NYC. 2015 is the year for me to do as many new things and go to as many new places as possible, s
