After taking probably a few hundred flights with FlyNYON, you begin to look at different things throughout the city. I've been taking my 70-200mm f/4 up with me a lot more often because of its size. I was always discouraged taking big cameras up, especially when you have 2 bodies, but the size of a smaller mirrorless camera with a smaller f/4 zoom rather than a f/2.8 makes a huge difference. It makes camera changes quicker and helps with a steady shot since its much smaller and lighter in the wind.
This was taken off Pier 2 in Brooklyn right next to the Brooklyn Bridge. The summer and warmer weather make for brighter colors and this pier really popped out to me. I hope to get more images like this in the future!
