Last week I took a trip to Arizona for a weekend trip in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. There were many things that impressed me about this small city and most of it were things that weren't even in the city itself.
One thing I was super excited about was being able to fly my new DJI Mavic Pro drone. Being out west, outside of a major city, you have much more freedom and open air space to fly around. Lake Havasu splits Arizona and California States and it was cool that I was literally able to fly my drone to Cali from Arizona. I was able to get this shot looking straight south down Lake Havasu where you can clearly see the separation of the two states. Everything on the right side of the water is California and everything on the left side is Arizona. According to the GPS on my remote, my Mavic was directly on the state line.
Owning such a portable flying camera has already paid for itself in my eyes just from this one trip alone. I'm looking forward to more journeys around the globe where I can just throw this drone in my backpack and go!
