Everyone has one of those people in their crew, someone who is a master of funky tricks, always does something out of the ordinary and can most likely catch a letter on everyone with them in a game of skate. In our crew, this person was Franco Cammayo.
One of this specialties was this Topsoul with one foot on the top and the other on the bottom of whatever he was grinding. I believe it was Billy O'Neill who dubbed this trick "Topsoul Of Sorts". This was while filming for his section in The Truth in March of 2007 and it was also during a time where Franco fell on his head... a lot... and this was one of those moments. If you have seen his section in The Truth, you will remember it starting out with an attempt at this trick and he smacks his head so hard on the ground that you can hear it clearly in the footage and I distinctly remember feeling the thud on the ground while I was shooting the video. Nonetheless, he laced the shit out of it and despite the stumble, he did it more than once so I could get the photo afterward.
