In the mid 2000's, Chris Shaw was an insane up and comer. Anyone who seen his section in "Opinions" knows what I mean. He needed photos for something (I honestly can't remember) and I ended up spending a day with him to take care of business.
He drove from his home in Maple Shade, NJ about an hour to pick me up in Staten Island, NY, headed an hour and a half back down to skate Philly then after a whole day of skating drove another hour and a half to drop me off home again in Staten Island. It was worth it though, he got right down to business. Every spot he took me to were either first try hammers or super hard technical tricks like this Fishbrain on the flat rail to Mute to Royale down. He did this a few times to get the grab just right for the photo. This shot was actually published in ONE magazine:
